A reimagined 1970s landmark in the heart of downtown Louisville, A12 Suites is a residential-style boutique hotel with 34 bedrooms across 10 private suites. Every suite is designed for groups who want privacy and togetherness under one roof.

In the 1970s, workers polished rings by hand inside 410 South First Street. Five decades later, you can still see the polishing dust stained into the ceiling concrete where room walls used to stand. During demolition, we found a time capsule: a White Castle cup, an anti-litter card, and a newspaper from the day Apollo 13 splashed down. Some buildings just have something to say.

The Neighborhood House Speakeasy

"A hidden world within the hotel — where your group owns the night."

Your group gets exclusive access to our basement-level private lounge. A pool table, games, bar area, lounge seating, a chef's kitchen, and a large group dining and conference table. These aren't shared amenities. This is your group's personal headquarters for the stay.

The name honors the Belknap Neighborhood House, a Louisville settlement house that served this part of the city for decades. The original building appears in historical photos from the 1936 flood. We kept the name because this space is built on the same idea: a place where people come together.

The kind of space where a morning strategy session becomes an afternoon bourbon tasting becomes a late-night celebration, and no one ever asks you to wrap it up.
